As an authorized Hunter Douglas dealer, we offer repair services for all Hunter Douglas brand products that were purchased through Fashion Interiors.

Repair Process

2. Provide Necessary Information - When you reach out, our team will collect the following details: 

  • Proof of purchase or order verification
  • Your relationship with Fashion Interiors
  • Product information (model, brand, or order number)
  • Description and photos of the issue
  • You can send photos and descriptions via email or text to 949-788-9288

3. Non-Fashion Interiors Purchases

  • If your product wasn’t purchased from Fashion Interiors, please contact the original retailer or manufacturer.
  • Alternatively, ask about our Exclusive Replacement Program to purchase a new product.

Replacement Program

We understand the frustration of dealing with outdated or malfunctioning shades. For products older than 5-7 years, replacement is often the best option as warranties for the motor and normal wear and tear may no longer be valid or may have expired. Our Replacement Program offers:

  • Special Discounts: On replacing old or out-of-warranty products from brands we carry.
  • Complimentary Design Consultation: To help you choose the perfect replacement.
  • Free Take-Down: We remove your old shades at no extra cost when you proceed with the Replacement Program.

Repair Assessment and Fees

Initial Assessment

  • A phone assessment will determine if your issue can be resolved remotely or requires an on-site visit.

Service Fees

  • If an on-site service is needed, a minimum service fee will apply.
  • We will inform you of any potential charges for labor and parts before scheduling the service.
  • Some repair fees may only be finalized after inspection and servicing begin.

Warranty Repairs

Eligibility: Repairs under warranty are handled according to the specific warranty terms.

Required Information: Proof of purchase or the full name under the original contract to verify the order, product type, and age.

Warranty Details:

  • The installation warranty is valid for one year from the installation date.
  • Factory warranties cover products only and do not include labor for take-down, installation, or in-person service.
  • Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product type (e.g., motorized vs. manual systems).

Scheduling Repairs

Appointment Timing: We schedule service appointments at your convenience, based on technician availability.

Preparation: Please ensure access to the property and clear the area around the product for our technician.

Repair Timeframes

Completion Time: While we strive to complete repairs promptly, the timeframe depends on parts availability and the complexity of the repair.

Updates: You will be kept informed about the progress of your repair.

Exclusions

Responsibility: Fashion Interiors is not responsible for repairs or services resulting from improper use, unauthorized modifications, or damage caused by external factors such as weather or accidents.

Non-Purchased Products: We do not service or repair products not purchased from Fashion Interiors.
